2017 Craft Beer Festivals in Toronto
Looking for craft beer events in Toronto this summer? There are plenty of events, large and small, to keep even the most picky beer snobs busy. There are plenty of events for the casual craft beer enthusiast as well. Here’s just a few of the many events taking place at venues across the city.
Toronto Festival of Beer
July 28, 29, 30 @ Exhibition Place
This could be Toronto’s biggest beer festival. Although it’s not devoted to craft beer, there is no shortage of craft breweries present serving up classics and festival specials alike. There are 3 different days to attend, lots of food, live music, and tons of contest and swag. VIP tickets for early entry are available as well. Check out the website here for more info.
Toronto Craft Beer Festival
June 23 and 24 @ Ontario Place
This festival was new to the scene last year and is back bigger and better this year. Firstly, it’s for craft beer only so you won’t be offered any fizzy, tasteless yellow stuff. Some of Ontario’s best craft breweries will be in attendance including Toronto’s own Junction Craft Brewery! Add some food and live music and this event is rounding into form. October 20, 21, 22 @ Evergreen Brickworks
This festival is a personal favourite. If you are into strange brews, one-offs, and hard to get beers then this festival is for you. Cask days has the purist in mind as they gather over 400 cask conditioned beers from Canada, the USA, and the UK. The festival is 3 days long and has a limited amount of casks. They do run out of most beers and the Sunday session can get quite sparse. There is something noticeably different about this event. There is an industry vibe to it instead of the drunk 20 something vibe that can dominate other festivals. Check out Cask Days here.
