ABV 6.8% IBU 58
Aleyards Collaboration IPA is a special beer for many reasons. Firstly, it’s the official beer of Toronto Beer Week 2017. Secondly, it marks the imminent move of Junction Craft Brewery to the Destructor Building at 150 Symes Rd. Lastly, the collaboration between the 3 “Aleyards Amigos” is wonderful.
Hey, did you know all 3 collaborators are feature brewery partners of Backyard Beer Tours? We are so proud to have Junction Craft Brewery, Rainhard Brewing Co, and Shacklands Brewing as feature breweries on our West End Tours. Each of these 3 breweries offers a unique set of beers and styles sure to please any craft beer lover’s palate.
Aleyards Collaboration IPA pours a clear golden colour with and ample white and foamy top. There is a strong aroma of tropical fruit. The flavour is an aggressive pineapple and passionfruit. The beer is quite “heavy” and has a weight to it, likely imparted by the 6.8% ABV. The finish is bitter but not over the top.
The Aleyards is an exciting place for Toronto’s Craft Brewery scene. The 3 breweries located here are interesting, inviting, and excited to share their craft with beer lovers. The best way to visit the Aleyards is by booking a West End Backyard Beer Tours brewery crawl. Click here for more info.
